Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport, you'll be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy a short local coffee farm visit or relax at the lodge.
Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park, home to large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive—look out for lions, buffaloes, giraffes, and a variety of birds around the Tarangire River. overnight at selected lodge
After breakfast, take a short drive to Mto wa Mbu village, where you’ll join a guided cultural tour: Walk through banana plantations & local markets, Taste local food prepared by a mama group, Visit a traditional beer brewery or wood carving workshop. After lunch, enter Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. Keep an eye out for tree-climbing lions, elephants, and flamingos along the lake shore.
Early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, a World Heritage Site and home to the densest wildlife population in Africa. Spend the day searching for rhinos, lions, elephants, and hippos on the crater floor. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending and driving to Serengeti via the highlands. Overnight: Serengeti Heritage Tented Camp / Kati Kati Camp.
Spend the day exploring the legendary Serengeti National Park. Witness predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs, along with elephants, wildebeest, zebras, and giraffes. The vast plains and kopjes offer iconic safari moments. Optional: Sunrise hot air balloon safari with champagne breakfast.
After a short game drive in the morning, begin the journey back toward Karatu. On the way, stop for an authentic Maasai village visit where you will learn about their traditions, dress, and lifestyle. Continue to the highlands for a restful evening. Overnight: Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge / Country Lodge Karatu.
After a leisurely breakfast, drive back to Arusha (or fly from Manyara airstrip if preferred). Upon arrival, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant or cultural heritage center before being transferred to the airport or your hotel.
