Day 1 - Arrival in Dar es Salaam – Transfer to Nyerere (Selous)
Upon arrival at Dar es Salaam airport, fly or drive to Nyerere National Park, Tanzania’s largest and wildest reserve. Enjoy a boat safari on the Rufiji River in the evening—see hippos, crocodiles, and elephants by the water. Overnight at in recommended lodge/camp
Day 2 - Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere
Explore the vast plains, woodlands, and riverbanks of Nyerere by 4x4 safari vehicle. Spot elephants, lions, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and perhaps the elusive African wild dog. Optional: Romantic bush breakfast or sundowner by the river. Overnight at same lodge
Day 3 - Walking Safari + Village Visit or Relaxation

Day 4 - Fly or Drive to Ruaha National Park
Today you travel to Ruaha National Park, known for its rugged beauty, baobab-filled landscapes, and high predator concentrations. After checking into your lodge, enjoy an evening game drive. Overnight at recommended lodge
Day 5 - Full-Day Game Drive in Ruaha
A full-day safari in Ruaha reveals lions, leopards, elephants, kudu, sable antelope, cheetahs, and even rare wild dogs. This park offers thrilling encounters far from the tourist trail. Overnight at recommended lodge
Day 6 - Optional Walking Safari or Relaxing Game Drive
Enjoy a slower-paced morning game drive or take a walking safari to learn about tracks, plants, and smaller creatures. Afternoons are perfect for sundowners, books, and enjoying camp life. Overnight at recommended lodge.
Day 7 - Return to Dar es Salaam – Departure
After breakfast, catch your flight back to Dar es Salaam for your onward journey or Zanzibar beach extension.
