Detailed Itinerary
Day 1 - Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park (2–3 hours). Tarangire is known for its massive elephant herds, towering baobab trees, and rich wildlife diversity. Enjoy your first thrilling game drive, with chances to spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and countless bird species.
Day 2 - Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, head toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park, passing through the highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy a game drive en route as you enter the Central Serengeti (Seronera area). In the afternoon, explore the park further — this region is rich with big cats and active wildlife all year round,
Day 3 - Serengeti – Ngorongoro Highlands
After a morning game drive in the Serengeti, begin your journey to Ngorongoro, with wildlife viewing along the way. You can stop at a Maasai village or Olduvai Gorge (optional). Arrive at your lodge on the crater rim or highlands and enjoy a peaceful evening surrounded by lush forest.
Day 4 - Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
Descend early into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, home to over 25,000 animals, including the endangered black rhino. Game drive for 5–6 hours across the crater floor, stopping at the hippo pool for a picnic lunch. After the safari, ascend and return to Arusha by evening.
