Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) located between Arusha and Moshi, our professional driver guide will be waiting to warmly welcome you. Look for a signboard with your name or our tour company’s logo just outside the arrivals terminal. After immigration, luggage collection, and a friendly introduction, you will be transferred in a comfortable private safari vehicle to your hotel or lodge in Arusha 1.5 hour drive depending on the traffic and location. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of mount Kilimanjaro and the vibrant Tanzania coubtryside. Our team will give you a short briefing about your upcoming safari, assist with check-in, and make sure you are comfortably settled in. This day is meant for rest, recovering from your flight, and preparing for your adventure.

Day 2 - Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, your driver-guide will pick you up around 7:30 AM, and you will begin your scenic drive to Tarangire National Park — approximately a 2.5 to 3-hour journey through beautiful Maasai villages and open landscapes. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and sweeping views of the savannah. It’s a hidden gem with a peaceful atmosphere and rich biodiversity, especially during the dry season when animals gather near the Tarangire River. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park at a safe and scenic spot. Later in the afternoon, continue your game drive or relax under the shade of baobabs as you observe wildlife by the riverbanks. In the late afternoon, you’ll exit the park and drive to your lodge or tented camp located near the park or in the nearby Karatu area.

Day 3 - Transfer to Serengeti National Park – Full-Day Game Drive

After an early breakfast, depart your lodge and begin the scenic drive toward the world-famous Serengeti National Park — a journey that takes you through the Ngorongoro Highlands and vast stretches of the African wilderness. Upon entering the Serengeti gates, your adventure truly begins. The Serengeti is celebrated for its endless plains and incredible concentrations of wildlife — including the Big Five and the Great Migration (seasonal). Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in time to settle in, relax, and enjoy dinner under the stars surrounded by the sounds of the Serengeti.

Day 4 - Full day safari in Serengeti national Park

Wake up early to the magical sounds of the Serengeti — birds singing, distant roars of lions, and the sunrise painting the savannah in golden light. After a warm breakfast (or with a packed picnic), set off for a full day of game viewing in one of the most celebrated wildlife destinations in the world. This day is dedicated to exploring deeper into the Serengeti, with your guide tailoring the route based on wildlife movement and your interests. Depending on the season, you may witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras on the move as part of the Great Migration, or follow predator trails for sightings of lions, cheetahs, and possibly leopards. Day 5 - Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in the Serengeti as you begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders: the Ngorongoro Crater. You’ll stop for a picnic lunch en route and continue the scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands, where you may see Maasai villages and herds of livestock grazing on the green slopes. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp located on the crater rim or nearby in Karatu in the late afternoon. Enjoy stunning views, fresh highland air, and prepare for an unforgettable crater descent the following day.

Day 6 - Karatu to Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast at your lodge in Karatu, depart for Lake Manyara National Park, just a short 30-minute drive away. Though compact, Manyara is one of Tanzania’s most diverse parks — a beautiful blend of lake, forest, and savannah. In the afternoon, exit the park and begin your drive back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or transferred directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) if you have an evening flight.

Day 7 - Karatu and Return to Arusha Town

After a relaxed breakfast at your lodge in Karatu, begin your journey back to Arusha, enjoying scenic views along the way passing through rolling hills, local farms, and small towns that reflect the daily rhythm of rural Tanzania. Arrival in Arusha is expected by early to mid-afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your preferred location — either at your hotel, the airport, or another agreed point. This marks the end of your unforgettable safari adventure, filled with remarkable landscapes, thrilling wildlife sightings, and lasting memories.
